Senior Presentation

(1) Positive Statement

What are you most proud of in your Block Presentation and/or your senior project? Why?

I am most proud of meeting the time required to pass but also teaching everything in a way that is understandable to anyone who doesn't workout. I feel like I did well with referencing my sources throughout the presentation. If my audience noticed that I kept referencing these book sources then I hope they look into reading those books after hearing throughout the presentation.

(2) Questions to Consider

a.     What assessment would you give yourself on your Block Presentation (self-assessment)?

AE       P          AP       CR       NC

b.     What assessment would you give yourself on your overall senior project (self-assessment)?

AE       P          AP       CR       NC

(3) What worked for you in your senior project?

Choosing my research wisely and keeping track of each of my sources really did help me during my senior presentation. So doing research checks did work for me. Also doing the lesson 2 and lesson 1 presentations helped prepare me for my final presentation.

(4) (What didn't work) If you had a time machine, what would have you done differently to improve your senior project if you could go back in time?

would've done better on my lesson 2 presentation. Knowing that I got an AP only made me work harder so that I could get a better grade for my final presentation.

(5) Finding Value

How has the senior project been helpful to you in your future endeavors?   Be specific and use examples.

In my opinion, I think that this whole set up of preparing for something really big did help with getting over my fears. After presenting today i feel like in the future when i have to present in front of an audience ill feel more comfortable doing so. Just doing this whole senior topic and presenting on your own is just something I would have never had thought I would accomplish coming in freshman year. I thank I-Poly for creating the individual I am today.

Advisory meeting #2

EQ: What is the best way to increase muscle mass in bodybuilding?
Answer 2: Having evenly prepped meals throughout the day that satisfy you with enough micro and macro-nutrients to target muscle growth.

-Macro and Micro-nutrient basics why they are important and the ( proteins, carbs, and fats) science behind it all.

- TDEE ( Total Daily Energy Expenditure ) total number of calories one oxidizes or "burns" in a day. Broken up into three parts ( Resting Metabolic Rate, Thermic effect of a meal, and energy expenditure of physical activity)

-Setting it all up ( Diet Planner, Tracking your intake, Managing meals away from home, What to put into your shopping cart, Preparing food in advance for the whole week)

Conclusion Sentence: Having all these components will most definitely effect muscle growth in the nutritional part.

Lesson 2 Reflection

    1. What are you most proud of in your Lesson 2 Presentation and why? To be honest i'm proud of actually putting time and effort into this presentation. It all pays off in the end when your done presenting in front of the class. The Information that I was able to present was all researched and really was my strongest ability in my perspective.
    2. What assessment would you give yourself on your Lesson 2 Presentation (self-assessment)? I feel like I met all the requirements so I should deserve a P. I didn't do anything AE worthy nor did I do something terribly bad.
    3. What worked for you in Lesson 2? I felt like explaining all the information and presenting it was my strongest point for this whole lesson 2. I really researched enough to get to a point.
    4. (What didn't work for you) If you could go back in time and improve on something from my lesson 2 what would it be? I would definitely work on my speaking and presenting skills such as eye contact with the crowd and not looking at the board most of the time.
    5. What do you think your answer #2 is going to be? I will have it do mainly with nutrition and the importance of having the right meals at certain times of the day. This is definitely a factor of muscle growth. For my answer #3  I will have it based mostly on Supplementation and the importance of taking supplements before and after a work out. This is also another factor of muscle growth.
